Studio Vegetalista School is an independent -experimental "escuelita" founded by Patricia Domínguez in 2015 to teach Botanical, Natural Science illustration and artistic, spiritual and digital ways of connecting and representing the vegetal world.

We conduct experimental-energectic study groups called Vegetal Matrix to connect to plants. We used to teach basic advanced Botanical Illustration, Natural Science Illustration (mammals and birds), Techniques of graphite and watercolor, medicinal plants illustration, and cyanotypes, in order thread a stronger community of Scientific Illustrators in Chile and use scientific language as a way to protect our environments in the South-American region.

We have collaborated with institutions such as The Wellcome Collection (London), Gropius Bau (Berlin), The Mosaic Room (Londres), Nottingham Contemporary (UK), La Casa Encendida (Madrid), Museo Tamayo (México), TBA21 (Madrid) Centro de Arte Digital Juan Downey (Chile), Museo de Historia Natural (Chile), Universidad Católica de Chile (Chile) and Frecuencia Licán (Chile - Brasil).

We have given workshops Santiago, San Antonio, Puerto Varas (Chile), Punta Arenas (all Chile), Madrid and Cordoba (Spain), Londres (UK), Berlin, Colombia and since the pandemia, online.
